Measuring For Cellular Shades
Measuring accurately before ordering cellular shades is just as important as picking out the best color for your window coverings. The shades will not fit properly and the effect will be ruined if correct measurements are not followed. Decide if an inside or outside mount is best for the style you desire in each room. Each window needs to be measured separately to ensure accuracy. For the correct width, measure three places - top, middle and bottom and the smallest of the three is your guideline. If your window does not have a top frame, deduct ¼ inch from the width measurements because there must be enough space for side-mounted brackets. Measure three places from left to right again for the height.
