Faux Wood Blinds = Economical Choice
Just like real wooden blinds, faux wood blinds come in stock sizes or can be special ordered to fit odd-size (or shape) windows. Available in 2-2 ½ inch slats and a number of finishes, faux wood blinds are usually topped with a matching wooden valance to hide the metal headrail. For covering large windows like sliding glass doors, wood vertical blinds are an option. While some may worry that faux wood window blinds means ‘cheap wood blinds', rest assured that faux wood blinds are merely cheaper than wood blinds. Faux wood blinds are more durable and fade resistant than wood blinds and come in just as many finishes. They can be special ordered to fit any size window and can be applied as an inside or outside mount.
